Former EC member of the Dutch Association of Preventive Youth Health Care (AJN). Expert in early life stress, on child abuse and domestic violence. Furthermore, involved in developing guidelines and new policies in the mentioned topics.

General practioner, doctor of medicine, experienced in adolescent health, prison and community health, as well as related public health issues. Working since 5 years as a school health professional, responsable for the school health service in Fribourg City /Switzerland.

EC member of SCOLARMED, Swiss association of school health. Ongoing projects: school nuse, injury prevention (child abuse and neglect issues), life style related illnesses and school, community health network).

Doctor of Public Health and Environmental Medicine. Former Head of the Brandenburg Public Health Institute. Senior researcher in fields of public health: Injuries and injury prevention, social paediatric epidemiology, benefit of school health services; senior lecturer in school nursing.

Prim. Željka Karin, PhD, MD, Specialist in School and Adolescent Medicine, is the Director of the Public Health Institute of Split and Dalmatian County as well as the Head of Department of School and Adolescent Medicine and the first Vice-president of the Croatian Society for School and University Medicine. Additionally, a member of the Civil Protection Headquarters for Split and Dalmatian County COVID-19 committee.

Member of the expert group for childhood obesity prevention and healthy lifestyle promotion at the National Institute of Public Health since 2016.

EC member of the Finnish Association of School and Student Health Care. Clinical career mainly in student health care.
